The 7th international Conference on Climate change has just been completed in Chicago under the auspices of the Heartland institute. This, for uninitiated is the world conference of climate change rationalists, as opposed to the annual frantics conference held in luxury resorts in exotic locations around the world under the guidance of the IPCC.

As usual, rentacrowd was in attendance protesting against the holding of ideas other than those of the IPCC and Al Gore. Lord Monckton and a small group of supporters decided to challenge them to a debate on the subject:

It can only be assumed that the reason for it not being something about parboiling the little children and helpless puppies is that the control freak left were the actual organizers of the protest, rather than their allies in the climate change movement.
