Gun control and its consequences
Dave Nalle from the RLC has mentioned that the UN gun control treaty has been passed and the need to ensure that the Senate does not ratify it.
The UN like most authoritarian governments and statists, want all guns out of private hands worldwide. The idea that we can be safe without guns is a dangerous one; given that in order to replace the protection afforded by private gun ownership, enough cops would be required to create a police state. With that many police, governments would quickly find other, more urgent priorities to use them on, like enforcing bans on fizzy drinks, and seatbelt law.
