Funny, but of course God wouldn't have to pay. Natural CO2 is a harmless trace gas whereas anthropogenic CO2 is a dangerous pollutant, no really it is, you'll die if you breathe nothing else, and just look at Venus (but not Mars, no, definitely not Mars), etc etc. And early last year we were told that this is even written into programs to reduce warble gloaming by none other than then Climate Whinge Minister Penny Wrong herself:
ReplyDeleteBut Climate Change Minister Penny Wong told The Australian there was little point doing anything about Australia's feral camels as only the CO2 of the domesticated variety is counted under the Kyoto Protocol.
So God/Om/Gaia/Odin/whatever else is off the hook. Even if it is clearly not all our fault, it is.
Bloody hell Angry, I thought you were pulling my leg for a minute there. Unfortunately I still tend on occasions to succumb to the rationalist thinking pattern of, "Even those idiots are not bloody stupid enough to come up with that."
ReplyDeleteI am giving myself a few good slaps around the ear to remind myself that there is no depth of puerility that this lot wouldn't plumb.
